JONATHAN “JON” AVERHOFF

Jonathan “Jon” Averhoff has been a resident of Evansdale since February of 1986 when his parents moved there from Waterloo.  Jon and his wife, Rachel, have been together for 9 years and have children ranging from 6 to 21 years of age.  They also share their home with Daisy, their beloved yellow lab.  They like to spend their free time in Harpers Ferry, Iowa where they have a second home to enjoy with their friends and family.

Jon had been a member of Chicago Central Credit Union since 1994. Although he had somewhat drifted away due to limited banking services, he did retain his checking and savings accounts. When the merger between CFCCU and Chicago Central occurred, Jon saw it as an opportunity to reassess the services offered. He was pleasantly surprised by the breadth of services available and consequently moved most of his business to CFCCU.

During Jon’s working career, he has experience as a machinist, tool & die, patternmaker, CNC, manufacturing technician, shop lead & production supervisor & project management.  Currently, Jonathan is employed as a project manager at Samson Fabrication, a position he has held since July of 2018. He thoroughly enjoys his job, managing several different accounts with multi-million-dollar sales. Jon has also been a CNC instructor at Hawkeye Community College in Waterloo, Iowa since April 2015.
